2 Doors and windows. The location of the door should be convenient for work and cold protection. Generally, the door is located on the south side of the south facing chicken house. The size of the door should be such that all the equipment in the house and the vehicles working in the house are easy to enter and exit.

3 The roof. The roof consists of two parts, the roof truss and the roof, which require good heat insulation performance. The roof truss can be made of steel bar, wood, prefabricated cement board or reinforced concrete. The roof must be weatherproof, impermeable and cut off from solar radiation. 4 The ventilation setting of the chicken house. Ventilation has the functions of removing pollutants in the house and regulating temperature and humidity. There are two ways of ventilation, namely natural ventilation and mechanical ventilation. The open type chicken house is mainly natural ventilation. When the span exceeds 7 meters, fans should be installed to supplement mechanical ventilation. Closed chicken houses rely entirely on mechanical ventilation.

Mechanical ventilation is divided into positive pressure ventilation and negative pressure ventilation. Exhaust air from the fan is called negative pressure ventilation. The fan blowing into the house is called positive pressure ventilation. There are several ways of negative pressure ventilation, and the choice depends on the span of the chicken house. The penetrating negative pressure is often used in chicken houses with a span of less than 10 meters.

Wind; multi-layer chicken coops with a span of less than 12 meters and 2 to 4 floors are suitable for roof exhaust negative pressure ventilation; a chicken house with a span of less than 20 meters and 5-6 groups of chicken coops is suitable for use. Wall exhaust type negative pressure ventilation, etc.

The area of ​​the air inlet is calculated based on an air inlet area of ​​0.096 square meters required for an air exchange rate of 1,000 cubic meters per hour. If the air inlet has a shading device, it will be increased to 0.12 square meters.
