Pheasant breeding technology

Seed selection

There are many types of pheasants, and the needs of each place are different. So before we breed, we must first look at the local market to see which species are popular, choose the species suitable for local farming, and understand the price and profit. It is not suitable for breeding and cannot be chosen blindly. After choosing the chicken breed, you must know the breeding conditions of the pheasant, so that you can better breed. Chicks need to be purchased in a regular place, and there are no guarantees for chicks from small vendors. Finally, there is the problem of choosing chicks. Chicks must be selected. If they are not selected, the survival rate will be reduced, which will cause us some losses.

temperature

The temperature required in each stage of breeding pheasant is different, and the temperature must be adjusted appropriately according to the seasonal changes, so as to grow better. The first is the chicks just bought. Before you buy them, you must adjust the temperature of the breeding room to about 28-30 degrees. After growing at this temperature for a week, slowly lower the temperature. -2 degrees or so, until it drops to normal temperature. Then there is the hot summer, when cooling and heat dissipation are required, ventilation must be done. Finally, in the winter, when the temperature is too cold, some insulation measures are required.

health

Pheasant growth is very demanding on environmental hygiene. Before breeding, a full disinfection is required, and daily necessities also need to be cleaned and disinfected. After the farming, it should be cleaned once a day, and disinfected occasionally, so that most bacteria can be killed, and the breeding room must have appropriate oxygen. This requires proper ventilation to prevent excessive nitrogen dioxide. Wash the food trough and water tank frequently, and also disinfect it from time to time. If you do n’t wash for a long time, you will eat bacteria into your stomach, and you will get sick easily. It should also be noted that feed and drinking water must be clean and free from pollution and deterioration.

Flee

Pheasants are different from domestic chickens. They have a certain flying ability. If the anti-escape measures are not done properly, they will be allowed to fly away. If they can’t be caught as long as they fly away, they will cause us losses. In order to avoid such problems, it is necessary to implement anti-escape measures before breeding. The anti-escape nets must be placed around the farm, which must be much higher than the anti-escape nets for domestic chickens, so as to prevent the pheasants from flying away.

Prevention

Disinfection and prevention need to be done during the breeding period, because disinfection can kill most bacteria and reduce pheasant illness. According to the growth stage, some prevention and control seedlings need to be injected, and other times can not be used randomly, which is easy to cause other hazards. If a sick chicken is found during breeding, it needs to be treated in time, and it must be isolated to prevent the transmission of other pheasants. Afterwards, it needs to be disinfected to prevent the spread of bacteria.
